Kickin your Wednesday up a notch
Wanted to an invite to “Homecoming,” a young professionals event to benefit The TEAK Fellowship at Katra Lounge on September 30, 2009 from 7-10PM. The TEAK Fellowship “helps NYC students from low-income families gain admission to and succeed at top high schools and colleges. Along with academic support, TEAK provides leadership training, exposure to the arts and outdoors, mentoring, career experience, and assistance with the high school and college application processes.”
It is an organization that I’ve had the privilege to be a part of and an event I am proud to promote.

Out in the Great Westville
Check out one of Westville's locations for really good, affordable food with a small neighborhood restaurant feel. Had myself a delish Newport Steak sandwich with caramelized onions, horseradish mayo on a baguette. Yum.

Body By Brooklyn
Went to Body By Brooklyn, a beautiful spa nestled in Clinton Hill, for a girlfriend's birthday recently. Had myself a much needed Swedish massage after stuffing my face at the cafe/bar/restaurant, then chilled at the wet lounge. You can spend the day there for just $44 or get a treatment and have access to the facilities for free! Join the email list for alerts and discounts: http://bodybybrooklyn.com. Have a happy 4th!
